BLACK LIVES VEGGIES
About Us
Our education is based on innovative gardening for real production results.
Black Lives Veggies
Established in 2022, Black Lives Veggies is dedicated to enriching Austin's community through urban agriculture. We have donated more than $5,000 to local community gardens, enhancing green spaces and fostering sustainable practices. Our commitment to education has empowered over 50 families with the skills to plant, grow, and harvest their own vegetables.
Through a strategic partnership with Austin's public housing, we have expanded access to fresh produce and gardening education for residents. Additionally, we proudly created Austin's first-ever garden tour, "Keep Austin Growing," showcasing the vibrant potential of urban gardening in our community.
Our education initiatives are based on innovative gardening techniques aimed at real production results. We focus on practical, effective methods that ensure families can achieve sustainable and plentiful harvests right in their own backyards.
